Sunbean Tie Die - home studio

After manipulating the filters in Photoshop I created this pattern "Sunbean Tie Die".  The coffee filter unexpected created its own tie die look and the beet juice is nontoxic.

I was inspired while cutting up roasted beets and watching the beautiful color run.
Materials - juice from 1 beet, coffee filters, plate, pan
1.) Juice the beat.
2.) Pour beat juice into a plate.  The plate should be deep enough to hold beet juice.
3.)  Grab a stack of coffee filters (maybe 7-8) and dip the edges into the beet juice.  The longer you dip the coffee filter the stronger the color will come out, but be careful.  You want to leave some white in the coffee filter to show contrast color.
4.)  Put coffee filters in a pan to dry (I left mine overnight).
5.)  After coffee filters are all dry, iron the coffee filters flat.
6.) Scan coffee filters into Photoshop and start playing.
